Ambassador Ahmed Mohanned Abdullah Al Atiyya
Director of the Department of Security Affairs
His Excellency Mr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Abdulla Al-Attiyah was appointed as Director of the Department of Security Affairs in accordance with the decision of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs No. (52) of 2022.
Since Joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he was:
- Appointed as Director of the Department of Security Affairs starting as of November 1, 2022 to date.
- Appointed in the Department of Security Affairs as of June 24, 2013.
Professional Experience Prior to Joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
- Served at Qatar Central Bank from February 17, 1997 to June 1, 2013.
- Served at the Ministry of Interior from July 18, 1989 to July 31, 1995.
Educational Qualification
- Higher Intermediate Diploma (Institute of Administration Diploma) from the Ministry of Education, 1996.
