The Department of Financial and Administrative Affairs is competent with the following:
  • Implement the laws, regulations, and financial and administrative systems related to the work of the Ministry.
  • Prepare the Ministry's draft annual budget and final account, in coordination with the relevant administrative units.
  • Provide the needs of the Ministry and the representative missions from supplies and equipment necessary to perform their tasks, in coordination with the relevant administrative units.
  • Undertake, by the State's rules and regulations, the work of procurement, tenders and auctions.
  • Supervise the implementation of appropriations and audit revenue and expenditure accounts.
  • Prepare disbursement documents and other financial transactions.
  • Take the necessary procedures for the allocation and maintenance of the Ministry's government buildings in coordination with the competent authorities.
  • Provide headquarters for the representative mission, housing for its members, and the necessary services, in coordination with the competent administrative units.
  • Collect fees for services rendered by the Ministry.
  • Perform the Administrative services work.
  • Supervise the Ministry's warehouses.
