H.E Ambassador Hussain Abdulrahman S. Al-Hail
Director of the Department of Documents and Correspondence
H.E. Ambassador Hussain Abdulrahman S. Al-Hail has been the Director of the Documents and Correspondence Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar since November 3, 2022, and continues in this role. His appointment was made in accordance with Decision No. 50 of 2022, issued by His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Academic qualification
- He received his Master's degree in Business Administration from Zarqa University in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in 2020, and a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom in 2005.
Work Experience
- His Excellency joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar on September 25, 2000, marking the start of his ongoing 23-year career.
- He was allocated the duties of head of the System and Development Section in the Information Technology (IT) Department from January 1, 2007, to October 4, 2014. Subsequently, he served as the Head of Section for two years, from November 1, 2014, to November 6, 2016.
- Appointed as Acting Assistant Director of the Documents and correspondence Department from November 7, 2016 to January 24, 2018.
- Served as Assistant Director of the Documents and correspondence Department from January 25, 2018, to June 12, 2021.
- Assumed the role of Director of the Documents and correspondence Department on June 13, 2021, and currently holds the position.
