His Excellency Ambassador Muhammad Abdullah Saeed Al-Subaiey was appointed Director of the Consular Affairs Department as per Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Decision No. 21 of the year 2011.

Since joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

• Appointed as Director of the Consular Affairs Department from 22-12-2011 to date.
• Worked as Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Tripoli between 23-12-2008 to 17-11-2011.
•  Worked as Assistant to the Director of the Consular Affairs Department between 14-03-2006 to 22-12-2008.
•  Worked at the Consular Affairs Department from 21-09-2004 to 13-03-2006.
• Worked at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Jakarta between 09-07-2002 to 04-09-2004.
• Worked at the Consular Affairs Department from 05-09-1999 to 09-07-2002.
•  Worked at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Amman between 10-08-1994 to 02-09-1999.
• Worked at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Dhaka between 15-08-1991 to 09-08-1994.
•  Worked at the Consular, Economic and Cultural Departments between 16-07-1983 to 14-08-1991.
•  Participated in many regional and international conferences.
