This service aims to add legal status to medical documents for use outside the State of Qatar, which include the following documents:

  • Medical certificates issued by hospitals and health centers under the supervision of the Ministry of Public Health.
  • Medical certificates issued from abroad and attested by the higher authorities of health, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the mission of the State of Qatar in the country of origin or the mission of the country of origin accredited to the State of Qatar.

Eligibility Requirements

  • The document to be attested must include a set of seals and signatures, both live and ending with a seal and signature from Qatari missions abroad or foreign missions accredited to the Department of Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • Governmental authorities in the State of Qatar are the competent authorities for attesting copies of documents issued by them (true copies).
  • The Department of Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall refrain from attesting any document submitted for legalization that violates the regulations in force in the State of Qatar.
