Qatar and Norway Hold Political Consultations

The State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Norway signed Monday a memorandum of understanding to establish political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs Ministries in the two countries.

The first round of political consultations between the two ministries were held today in Oslo.

The Qatari side was chaired by HE Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmad bin Hassan Al Hamadi, while the Norwegian side was led by HE State Secretary to Minister of Foreign Affairs Audun Halvorsen.

During the round of political consultations, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations between the two friendly countries and ways of supporting and developing them, in addition to a number of issues of common concern.
