The State of Qatar Participates in the Inauguration of the Somalian President

The State of Qatar participated today in the inauguration ceremony of HE President of the Federal Republic of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud.

The State of Qatar was represented in the ceremony by HE Minister of State Sheikh Fahd bin Faisal Al-Thani.
During the State of Qatar's speech at the ceremony, His Excellency congratulated the election of Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud as President of the Federal Republic of Somalia and stressed the strength of bilateral ties and the State of Qatar's support of Somalia in all fields and its commitment to the country's stability, progress, and prosperity.
On the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony, the Somali President received HE the Minister of State Sheikh Fahd bin Faisal Al-Thani.
HE the Minister of State conveyed the congratulations and greetings of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to the Somali President, and His Highness' wishes to His Excellency of success and continued progress and development for bilateral relations between the two countries.
For his part, the Somali President conveyed to the Minister of State his greetings to HH the Amir, and his wishes of good health and wellness to His Highness and further development and prosperity for the Qatari people.
HE the Somali President stressed the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries.
