The embassy of the State of Qatar in Jordan explains the mechanism for applying for jobs in Doha and warns against unauthorized sites Based on the solid fraternal and historic relations between the State of Qatar and the brotherly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and Qatar’s established principles and genuine Arab values, and in fulfillment of its Arab national and Islamic obligations towards the brotherly Arab countries and their peoples, the State of Qatar announced last week the provision of ten thousand job opportunities in Doha for the Jordanian brothers.

We thus confirm that the concerned institutions in the State of Qatar will work with the relevant institutions in Jordan to establish the appropriate mechanisms to honor this commitment and translate it into a reality.

Therefore, we call upon our brothers in Jordan to be careful in dealing with those who may wish to manipulate this opportunity through promoting fake job openings.

It has been noticed recently that some news sites and social media accounts have been announcing an employment mechanism in the State of Qatar and promoting several false internet links as being accredited in the State of Qatar to receive job applications.

In this context the embassy of the State of Qatar in Jordan confirms that a joint committee between the government of the State of Qatar and the brotherly government of Jordan will be formed with a view to decide on the mechanism whereby to receive job applications, and that such mechanism will be officially announced in due course by the embassy.

Thus, we urge all concerned to ensure that they get the relevant information from official and authoritative sources.
