The State of Qatar expresses its strong condemnation and denunciation of the shooting attack that targeted the United States Embassy in the Lebanese capital, Beirut. Resulting in the injury of one of the Embassy's guards. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates the State of Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence, terrorism and criminal acts, regardless of the motives and reasons. The Ministry also stresses the importance of providing the necessary protection to all diplomatic missions and their staff as they are among the pillars of the international system. The Ministry expresses the State of Qatar's wishes of a speedy recovery for the injured.
