The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the two attacks on a military base in Borno state and a residential neighborhood in north-eastern Nigeria, causing deaths and injuries.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed Qatar's condolences to the victims' families, the government and people of Nigeria.
