The State of Qatar expresses its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted a water-lifting station east of the Suez Canal in the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, which led to the killing of 11 soldiers, including an officer, and the injury of 5 others.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons.
The Ministry expresses the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Egypt, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
