The State of Qatar condemns in the strongest terms the vote of the Israeli occupation government to legalize settlement outposts and build new settlements.This step is a flagrant violation of the United Nations Charter, the principles of international law, and relevant United Nations resolutions. It is also  a flagrant violation of the rights of the brotherly Palestinian people.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the deep concern of the State of Qatar that the repeated Israeli violations will undermine international efforts aimed at implementing the two-state solution. It also calls on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities to compel Israel to stop its settlement policy in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The Ministry reaffirms the firm position of the State of Qatar regarding the justice of the Palestinian cause, the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, and the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
