The State of Qatar has expressed strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted a wedding ceremony in the Kapisa region in northeastern Afghanistan and led to deaths and injuries.

In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the firm position of the State of Qatar on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

The ministry expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims, the government and people of Afghanistan, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery.
