Telephone Call Between the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and the German Foreign Minister

A telephone conversation took place between His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency Mr. Johann Wadephul, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany.
During the call, they reviewed the bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries and discussed ways to support and enhance them, as well as the latest regional developments, particularly the ongoing diplomatic efforts and the joint coordination aimed at de-escalating tensions and promoting security and stability in the region.
His Excellency the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, during the call, emphasized the necessity for all parties to adhere to dialogue and diplomacy, and to implement the understandings reached within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, including ensuring freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, with a view to maintaining regional security, safeguarding the achievements attained, and enhancing regional stability.
His Excellency also reiterated the State of Qatar's full support for all efforts aimed at defusing tensions and reaching a comprehensive agreement that would achieve sustainable peace in the region.
