Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Holds Telephone Call with Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs

A telephone call was conducted between His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency Dr. Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
During the call, they reviewed the bilateral cooperation relations and ways for supporting and strengthening them, as well as the latest regional developments, particularly the ongoing diplomatic efforts and joint coordination aimed at de-escalating tensions and enhancing security and stability across the region.
His Excellency the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs underscored, during the call, the importance of all parties remaining committed to dialogue and diplomacy, and to implementing the understandings reached under the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, including ensuring freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, in order to safeguard regional security, preserve the progress achieved, and promote regional stability.
His Excellency reaffirmed the State of Qatar's full support for all efforts aimed at defusing tensions and reaching a comprehensive agreement that would achieve sustainable peace in the region.
