State of Qatar Participates in the Paris International Conference on Civil Society Organizations and the Two-State Solution
Paris, 12 June 2026
The State of Qatar participated today in the Paris International Conference on Civil Society Organizations and the Two-State Solution, which is being held in the French capital, Paris.
The State of Qatar was represented at the conference by Her Excellency Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, Minister of State for International Cooperation.
The conference is being convened within the context of growing international efforts to advance a political settlement of the Palestinian question. It aims to update the “Paris Call” launched in 2025 with the participation of Palestinian, Israeli, regional and international civil society organizations.
The conference focuses on five main pillars: strengthening security; ensuring the delivery of humanitarian assistance to Gaza; advancing the implementation of the two-state solution on the ground; supporting the discourse of peace; and deepening regional integration. These pillars are consistent with the State of Qatar’s longstanding priorities in supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and promoting peaceful solutions based on international legitimacy.
Qatar’s participation is of particular significance as it comes in preparation for the Group of Seven (G7) meeting in the French Republic and in furtherance of the outcomes of the United Nations-sponsored International Conference for the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, co-chaired by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the French Republic
