The Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Celebrates the Graduation of the Fifth Cohort of the Executive Program in Diplomatic Studies and International Affairs

The Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs celebrated the graduation of the fifth cohort of the Executive Program in Diplomatic Studies and International Affairs for the 2025–2026 academic year, organized in cooperation with Georgetown University in Qatar. The ceremony was held on the sidelines of the University’s Class of 2026 graduation celebrations, in the presence of a number of Their Excellencies officials, diplomats, members of the academic faculty, and the graduates’ families.

The ceremony witnessed the graduation of thirteen distinguished diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs following the successful completion of the program’s academic and practical requirements, which are designed to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in the fields of diplomacy and international relations, in line with evolving international developments and in support of strengthening the efficiency of Qatari diplomatic work.

The program forms part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ commitment to investing in the qualification of national cadres and the development of diplomatic capabilities in accordance with the highest academic and professional standards, through strategic partnerships with leading international educational institutions.

His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Horr, Director of the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, affirmed that the Executive Program embodies the Ministry’s commitment to building qualified diplomatic cadres capable of representing the State of Qatar with competence and distinction in various international forums. He also praised the continued and fruitful cooperation with Georgetown University in Qatar, and the distinguished academic opportunities it provides in support of institutional and diplomatic development.

The graduates likewise expressed their pride in completing the program, affirming that the knowledge and expertise they acquired would constitute a significant addition to their professional careers and serve as motivation to continue contributing and serving the nation.
