Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Holds Phone Call with Pakistani Prime Minister

HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani held a phone call with HE Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
During the call, cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them were reviewed. They also discussed the latest developments in the region, as well as Pakistani mediation efforts aimed at reducing escalation in a way that contributes to enhancing security and stability in the region.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Qatar's appreciation for the efforts of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and all parties that undertook mediation and good offices that contributed to reaching a ceasefire between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
His Excellency also affirmed the State of Qatar’s full support for the Pakistani mediation efforts aimed at ending the crisis through peaceful means, stressing the need for all parties to respond to these efforts in order to create the appropriate conditions for progress in the negotiations, leading to a comprehensive agreement that achieves sustainable peace in the region.
