Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Receives Phone Call from IAEA Director General

HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi received Sunday a phone call from HE International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi.
The call discussed the developments of the military escalation in the region and its serious repercussions on regional and international security and stability, along with ways to resolve all disputes by peaceful means.
HE the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs voiced the State of Qatar's appreciation for the IAEA's role in supporting efforts aimed at promoting international peace and security.
In turn, HE the IAEA's Director General affirmed that the IAEA is closely monitoring the situation in the Middle East, urging utmost restraint to avoid further escalation.
