Qatar Amb. Participates in Meeting of Swedish FM with Accredited Ambs. on Challenges Facing Women Globally

HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Sweden, Nadia bint Ahmed Al Shaibi, took part in the meeting of HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden Maria Malmer Stenergard, with Their Excellencies the ambassadors accredited to Sweden.
The meeting discussed a range of issues related to the challenges facing women's rights on the global stage, amid rapidly evolving political and socioeconomic developments.
During the meeting, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar weighed in on the efforts the State of Qatar is undertaking in the field of women empowerment and in boosting their role in a variety of sectors.
HE Al Shaibi emphasized that women empowerment constitutes a core pillar within Qatar National Vision 2030. She reiterated the State of Qatar's commitment to backing women's issues on the regional and global stages through development and humanitarian initiatives, enhancing education, and supporting women and girls in conflict zones.
