Minister of State for International Cooperation Visits Orphan Center in Johannesburg, Explores Future Cooperation

HE Minister of State for International Cooperation, Dr Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, on Wednesday visited an orphan care center in Johannesburg, as part of her official trip to South Africa.
Her Excellency reviewed the Ratang Bana Center's services for orphaned children, including education, psychosocial support and welfare programs. Center staff briefed her on ongoing challenges and priorities for expanding care provision.
Discussions also focused on potential future cooperation, such as support for core programs, capacity building, and development initiatives aimed at empowering vulnerable children.
HE Al Misnad said Qatar is committed to exploring sustainable support for child protection and empowerment programs, highlighting Doha's interest in long-term partnerships with community organizations.
