Former South African President Meets Minister of State for International Cooperation

HE Thabo Mbeki, former President of the Republic of South Africa and Chairman of the Thabo Mbeki Foundation Thabo Mbeki, met Wednesday with HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, during her current visit to South Africa.
Discussions during the meeting dealt with ways to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of development, research, and knowledge exchange, as well as partnership opportunities to support initiatives aimed at empowering communities in the African continent.
Both sides underlined the importance of joint action to strengthen regional and international efforts in the areas of peace and sustainable development.
