Minister of State for International Cooperation Meets UN Deputy Secretary-General

HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met today with HE Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Amina Mohammed, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The meeting dealt with discussing bilateral cooperation between the State of Qatar and the United Nations in the fields of sustainable development and humanitarian action.
During the meeting, Dr. Al Misnad reaffirmed the State of Qatar's commitment to supporting the UN's efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and address global humanitarian challenges.
For her part, HE the UN Deputy Secretary-General praised the State of Qatar's contributions and its growing role in supporting UN initiatives at both the regional and international levels.
Both sides agreed to continue consultations and coordination to serve shared priorities and strengthen their partnership.
