Minister of State for International Cooperation Witnesses Signing of Core Contribution Agreement between Qatar Fund for Development and International Fund for Agricultural Development

Her Excellency Dr. Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, Minister of State for International Cooperation and Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Fund for Development, witnessed the signing of a Core Contribution Agreement between the Qatar Fund for Development and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), held on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The agreement was signed by His Excellency Fahad bin Hamad Al-Sulaiti, Director General of the Qatar Fund for Development, and His Excellency Alvaro Lario, CEO of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
The agreement aims to support agricultural projects in less developed communities and to economically empower them.
