As part of its ongoing support for the Syrian people, a new batch of medical and humanitarian assistance totaling 90 tons of medical equipment and supplies, at a value of over QAR 45 million - provided by the State of Qatar through the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) - delivered to the Syrian Arab Republic on Sunday.

The new batch of Qatari aid is within the "Take Heart Syria" initiative.

It was delivered by two Qatar Armed Forces aircraft, carrying 12 tons of medical and humanitarian supplies to be distributed to beneficiaries in coordination with the Syrian Ministry of Health and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent.

This was preceded by three land aid convoys. On 28 August 2025, 22 aid trucks departed from Doha in three batches. The convoys traveled through Saudi Arabia and Jordan, ending in Syria, with 78 tons of aid.

The aid distribution will cover all Syrian regions, sending a clear message that Qatar is committed to ensuring its humanitarian aid reaches all Syrians without exception.
