Qatar's Advisor to Prime Minister and Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Meets EU Director-General for Middle East and North Africa

Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari, met on Tuesday in Brussels with HE Managing Director for the MENA region at the European External Action Service Helene Le Gal.
The meeting dealt with cooperation ties between the State of Qatar and the European Union and addressed the latest developments in Gaza and occupied Palestinian territories, as well as in Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, and the ongoing Russia-Ukraine crisis. The discussions also touched on talks between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During the meeting, Le Gal expressed appreciation for Qatar's efforts as part of the joint mediation aimed at achieving a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
The meeting was attended by HE Head of the State of Qatar's Mission to the EU and NATO Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki.
