Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Receives Phone Call from Lebanese Prime Minister

HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received on Sunday a phone call from HE Prime Minister of the Republic of Lebanon Dr. Nawaf Salam.

During the call, they discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to develop them, and explored the latest developments in Lebanon, especially with regard to the ceasefire agreement and the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation forces from Lebanese territories, in addition to exchanging views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest.

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm and supportive position towards the Republic of Lebanon, stressing Lebanon's unity and territorial integrity, and the State of Qatar's continued support for the brotherly Lebanese people.

His Excellency also underscored support for the new Lebanese government's efforts in the development and economic fields, noting the importance of full commitment to the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon and the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation forces from all Lebanese territories.
