Minister of State at Ministry of Foreign Affairs Meets Romania's Foreign Minister

HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met in Bucharest on Monday with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Emil Hurezeanu.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them. They also discussed the developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, the developments in Syria, the Russian-Ukranian crisis updates, in addition to a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
HE the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania voiced his country's appreciation for the State of Qatar's effective role in supporting the efforts to reach a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and contributing to the exchange of prisoners and hostages, especially those holding Romanian citizenship who were recently released.
He also expressed Romania's recognition of Qatar's mediation efforts to reunite children with their families due to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
