Special Envoy of Minister of Foreign Affairs Chairs Session on Peace, Security, Counter-Terrorism between Qatar, EU

HE Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Faisal bin Abdullah Al Hanzab chaired a dialogue session on peace, security and counter-terrorism, as part of the third senior officials' meeting at the expert level between the State of Qatar and the European External Action Service (EEAS), that was held in Doha.
In a speech, His Excellency stressed the commitment of the State of Qatar to support international efforts in the field of peace and security, and to strengthen diplomatic and security cooperation with international partners, pointing out the importance of joint work in facing current challenges.
The session discussed regional and international security challenges, ways to enhance joint cooperation between the State of Qatar and the European Union (EU) to combat terrorism and consolidate global security and stability.
It also touched upon the mechanisms of strengthening international partnerships and exchanging experiences to face the growing security threats.
