Minister of State at Ministry of Foreign Affairs Meets Lebanese Army Commander

HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz AL Khulaifi met in Beirut on Monday with the Commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces General Joseph Aoun.
Discussions during the meeting dealt with cooperation relations between the two countries, ways to support and enhance them, and a hoist of topics of mutual interest.
HE Dr. Al Khulaifi underscored the great importance of the role of the Lebanese Army in enhancing security and stability in Lebanon, and in preserving the sovereignty of the state and the unity of its territories in light of the increasing security and political challenges facing the region.
In turn, General Aoun expressed thanks and appreciation to the State of Qatar for the continuous support it provides to Lebanon and the military institution to overcome the current circumstances.
