Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Holds Phone Conversation with Türkiye's Minister of Foreign Affairs

HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani held a phone call with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan.
The call dealt with discussing cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them, as well as developments in the region, especially in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, in addition to the latest developments in Syria.
During the call, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed that the State of Qatar is following with great concern the recent developments in Syria, and that it stresses the need to spare civilians any consequences of this conflict.
His Excellency reiterated the State of Qatar's clear position in calling on all parties to engage in dialogue and understanding to end the Syrian crisis in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and Security Council Resolution 2254, in a way that achieves the aspirations of the Syrian people and preserves the unity, sovereignty and independence of their country.
