Foreign Ministry, OCHA Conclude Strategic Humanitarian Leadership Seminar

The strategic humanitarian leadership exchange seminar, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) from November 10 to 12, concluded Tuesday in Doha.
In his speech, Head of the United Nations Section in the Department of International Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Fakhro, emphasized the State of Qatar's commitment to enhancing humanitarian capacities through strategic partnerships and strengthening humanitarian institutions to support global efforts with the highest standards of efficiency and impact.
The first-of-its-kind seminar represents a milestone in the humanitarian partnership between Qatar and OCHA. It reflects Qatar's global leadership in humanitarian work through strategic diplomacy, financial aid, and innovative partnerships addressing urgent humanitarian challenges. It also marks the beginning of a vision to establish a comprehensive humanitarian training program between Qatar and OCHA, which aims to build Qatar's capacity to support international humanitarian efforts and create a legacy of highly skilled Qatari humanitarian professionals.
