Diplomatic Institute Organizes Scientific Visit for Distinguished Diplomats in the Executive Master's Program in Diplomatic Studies and International Cooperation

The Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Permanent Mission of the State of Qatar in Geneva and the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, organized a scientific visit to Switzerland for distinguished diplomats in the fourth batch of the Executive Master's Program in Diplomatic Studies and International Cooperation.
His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Horr, Director of the Diplomatic Institute, stressed the importance of these scientific visits in learning about the best global practices and experiences, pointing out the Institute's keenness to develop human resources at the Ministry to enhance their distinguished performance in diplomatic missions.
For their part, the participants stressed that the visit was a valuable opportunity to gain new knowledge and skills in the field of diplomacy and international affairs.
The visit program included lectures for diplomats and professionals delivered by experts from various international organizations, such as the International Labour Organization (ILO), the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR), and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
