Acting Director of the Human Rights Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs participates in the meetings of the Human Rights Council

HE Dr. Reem Ali Ibrahim Al-Derham, Acting Director of the Human Rights Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, participated in the meetings of the 57th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva, within the framework of the State of Qatar's current membership of the Human Rights Council for the period 2022-2024.
The current session, which runs from September 9 to October 11, 2024, will discuss the annual report of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and the reports of the High Commissioner on various human rights topics around the world, in addition to the relevant reports of the UN Secretary – General. The agenda will also focus on human rights situations that require the Council's attention, in particular the human rights situation in Palestine and other occupied Arab territories.
