Conclusion of the Second International Policy Round Table

The Second International Policy Round Table entitled "Combating Islamophobia
and Anti – Semitism: A New Ground for Understanding and Policies" concluded
with the participation of about 30 experts in the field of Islamophobia and anti-
Semitism studies from universities and research institutions in the United States,

Asia, Africa, Europe, Australia and the Arab world.

The two-day sessions addressed common challenges across a number of topics,
such as the impact of Islamophobia and anti-Semitism on the spread of
extremism, the use of terminology for political purposes and the importance of
creating a ground for understanding by confronting narratives that incite
differences, as well as discussing various aspects of these phenomena in politics,
education, art, culture and society. In addition, the importance of the platform's
continuity was stressed and its future work was discussed.
