Distribution of cash assistance to needy families in the Gaza Strip began Sunday morning, as part of the donation of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani, to the Palestinian people, to alleviate the humanitarian crises experienced by the residents of the Gaza Strip, which was announced on October 10, 2018.

Deputy Chairman of the Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza Khaled Al Hardan, toured the distribution centres of cash assistance provided to needy families in the Strip.

Al-Hardan inspected the course of the cash assistance distribution to (70,000) families in Gaza, which were chosen according to the criteria and conditions agreed upon in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Development in Gaza, and at $100 per family.

The cash assistance distribution will continue for several days until all beneficiaries receive their assistance.
