Qatar Participates in Arab League Council Emergency Meeting

The Arab League Council emergency meeting started here today at the level of permanent representatives, headed by Iraq, to discuss the steps and procedures that Arab countries can take regarding the illegal move by Brazil by opening a diplomatic commercial office in occupied Jerusalem.

The State of Qatar was represented at the meeting by HE Ambassador Hassan bin Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Deputy Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the League of Arab States.

The meeting is held at the request of the State of Palestine with the approval of a number of Arab countries.
