Qatar's Embassies and Consulates Abroad Celebrate National Day

Qatar's embassies and diplomatic missions marked the National Day, which is celebrated on December 18 of every year, in commemoration of the state's founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Thani, under the theme "The Path of Excellence is Difficult."
In Ankara, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Turkey Salim bin Mubarak Al Shafi held a reception on the National Day of the State. The event saw large participation with around 2000 people attending.
The ceremony was attended by HE Speaker of the Grand National Assembly Mustafa Sentop, HE Minister of the Interior Suleyman Soylu, HE Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, as well as a number of senior officials, heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited by the Republic of Turkey. There were also a host of media personalities and academics
HE the Ambassador said in a speech that thanks to the wise and pioneering leadership of the founder of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad bin Thani that the country was united and took serious steps towards modernity.
He stressed that the relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Turkey during the past few years have become an international model to be followed at various levels. He also noted that the relations between the two countries are based on a solid foundation of noble values and principles and the eternal triumph of humanity, Vis-a-vis regional and international political issues.
HE the Ambassador expressed hope that relations can be developed even further under the wise leadership of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HE President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
For his part, HE Sentop said that the strength of bilateral ties has already been tested on several occasions and passed those tests every time with flying colors. He stressed that the strong ties were a result of the commitment of the two countries leadership.
In New York, HE Permanent Representative of Qatar to the United Nations Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani hosted a reception marking the National Day at the Whitney Museum of American Art.
Welcoming the guests was also Consul General of the State of Qatar in New York Nasser Ibrahim Allenqawi.
The reception was attended by CEO of Doha Film Institute (DFI) Fatma Al Remaihi HE Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Amina Mohammed, HE President of the United Nations General Assembly Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, in addition to members of the diplomatic corps, United Nations officials, media personalities, and Qatari students studying in New York.
HE Permanent Representative of Qatar to the United Nations Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani welcomed the guests and reviewed in a speech the achievements of the State of Qatar in development. She highlighted the investment countrys wise leadership made in promoting the rights of women to achieve the sustainable development goals. Her Excellency said that the national day is a very special day for the Qatari people, as the founder of Qatar Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani united the country. She paid tribute to the men and women who contributed to making what Qatar has become today.
For her part, CEO of Doha Film Institute Fatma Al Remaihi reviewed the efforts of DFI in promoting the culture of cinema, particularly DFIs focus on youth and the role it plays in giving them a voice, as well as encouraging dialogues between different cultures. She also praised the role played by HE Chairperson of Qatar Museums and Reach Out to Asia Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani. Afterwards, a number of short movies produced by DFI were shown, some of which were award winners.
In Paris, HE Qatar's ambassador to the French Republic Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al Thani, held a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the State that was attended by a number of political and diplomatic figures in France.
The ceremony was attended by HE Secretary General of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs Francois Delattre, HE Head of the counter-terrorism Task Force at the Elysee Pierre de Bousquet, HE Presidential Advisor on North Africa and the Middle-East Patrick Durel, HE Chairman of the Select Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Armed forces Christian Cambon, a number of political and economic figures, heads of major companies, a number of parliamentarians and senior officials of the Presidency of the Republic (Elysee), the Presidency of the Government, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Interior, Economy, Finance and Defense, a number of ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the French Republic, UNESCO officials, in addition to the senior officers of the French army, police and gendarmerie. There was also intellectuals, academics, university professors, researchers, as well as Qatari students.
HE the ambassador welcomed the guests and praised the development of strategic bilateral ties in the last few years in all fields. HE the ambassador and HE the Secretary General of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs also announced of the Qatar-France year of culture 2020. The year will see a host of cultural events that take place in the two countries, reflecting the strength of bilateral ties.
For his part, Delattre stressed the strength of ties with Qatar, particularly in political, economic, and cultural fields. He also highlighted that officials from the two countries exchange visits on a regular basis.
In Berlin, HE Qatar's Ambassador to Germany Mohammed Jaham Al Kuwari hosted a reception on the occasion of Qatar National Day in Berlin.
The function was attended by HE chairman of the Munich Security Conference Wolfgang Ischinger, HE Chairwoman of the sports committee at the Bundestag Dagmar Freitag, in addition to prominent political and personalities in Germany
In his speech during the ceremony, HE Qatar's Ambassador praised the German-Qatari ties and said that Qatar remains committed to enhance bilateral relations even further. He noted that bilateral relations have developed in all fields whether political, investments, culture, education or others.
In Moscow, HE Qatar's Ambassador to the Russian Federation Fahd bin Mohammed Al Attiyah held a reception ceremony on Qatar's national day, with around 2000 people participating.
The reception was attended by HE Former Deputy Prime Minister and Personal Representative of the Russian President Viktor Zubkov, who is also Chairman of Gazprom, HE Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky, HE Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, HE Director of Foreign Ministry's Middle-East North Africa Department Alexander Kishnak, in addition to host of prominent Russian figures and members of the diplomatic corps accredited by Russia.
HE the ambassador welcomed the guests and stressed on the strength of bilateral ties, highlighting the regular visits between officials from both sides. He also said that the State of Qatar will be a guest in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2020.
In Brussels, HE the State of Qatar's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and Luxembourg and Head of its missions to the European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi held a reception on the occasion of the National Day.
The function was attended by a number of ranking officials, and heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions.
HE the ambassador reviewed the development of bilateral relations between the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Belgium, the European Union and NATO, and stressed that last year saw Qatar continue on a road of prosperity and economic diversification. He also stressed that the State of Qatar supports all peaceful resolutions and dialogue in order to build a peaceful and secure region that is prosperous.
In the Serbian capital of Belgrade, HE Qatar's ambassador to Serbia Sheikh Mubarak bin Fahd Al-Thani held a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the State.
The ceremony was attended by HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Communications of the Republic of Serbia Rasim Ljajic, members of the royal family, HRH Crown Prince Alexander, HRH Crown Princess Katherine Karadordevic, HE State Secretary at the Ministry of Mining and Energy, a number of representatives of Ministries and Government of the Republic of Serbia, Members of accredited diplomatic missions, public figures and community figures.
In a speech, HE the Ambassador welcomed the guests who participated in the ceremony and said that the State of Qatar has strengthened ties with its allies, and is committed to enhance bilateral cooperation with Serbia.
In Geneva, the Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar in Geneva held a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the State.
The ceremony was attended a number of Ambassadors and delegates of Permanent Delegations to the United Nations and officials of the Government of Geneva.
HE Al Mansouri said that the State of Qatar continues its effort to provide the best for its future generations. He added that this year's motto reflects the difficulty of achieving and maintaining excellence and the importance of solidarity between the people and the wise leadership
In New Delhi, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of India Mohammed bin Khater Al Khater held a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the State.
The ceremony was attended by HE India's Secretary for Economic Relations T. S. Tirumurti as guest of honor, representative of the Indian Government, a number of Indian officials, political and intellectual figures as well as business leaders, heads of diplomatic missions accredited to New Delhi, corporate executives, journalists, media and business representatives, civil society leaders and clerics.
In Kiev, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Ukraine Hadi bin Nasser Al Hajri held a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the State.
The ceremony was attended by HE Ukraine's deputy Minister of Finance Yuriy Dzhygyr, HE Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Natalia Forsiuk, Deputy Minister for European Integration Oleksandra Klitina, HE Deputy Minister of Healthcare, HE Deputy Minister for Education and Science, HE Deputy Minister of Defense, in addition to a number of parliament members, ambassadors, and representatives of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions accredited to Ukraine.
In Dhaka, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the People's Republic of Bangladesh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Dhaimi, held a reception on the occasion of the Qatar National Day.
HE Minister of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Imran Ahmed, and number of government officials, politicians, businessmen and a number of members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Bangladesh, attended the ceremony. Qatar Red Crescent, Qatar Airways and Qatar Charity participated in the ceremony.
There was also a documentary on the achievements of the State of Qatar. The participants expressed their congratulations to the people and government of the State of Qatar on the national day, wishing them further prosperity.
In Tbilisi, HE Qatar's Ambassador to Georgia Mubarak bin Nasser Al Khalifa held a reception on the National Day of the State. The ceremony was attended by a large number of Georgian ministers, a number of and diplomats accredited to Georgia, businessmen, and intellectuals.
In Lisbon, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Portuguese Republic Saad bin Ali Al binaliAl Mohannadi held a reception on the occasion of the National Day.
The meeting was attended by HE Vice-President of the Assembly of the Republic, HE Advisor to the President of the Portuguese Republic for Foreign Affairs and Presidential Coordinator Ana Martinho, HE Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Chair of the Twelve Plus geopolitical group and political and Portuguese MP Duarte Pacheco, in addition to political, military, economic, cultural and social figures, heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Portugal and representatives of European, regional and international organizations in Lisbon.
In his speech, HE the Ambassador noted the economic and political developments witnessed by the State of Qatar under the leadership of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, that have made Qatar an important contributor to regional and international growth and development. He also praised the development of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, stressing the keenness of the State of Qatar to strengthen these relations.
In Hague, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Netherlands Abdullah bin Hussein Al Jaber on the national day. The ceremony was attended by a number of ranking officials at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, heads of diplomatic missions accredited by Holland, and ranking officials of international organizations as well as businessmen and media personalities.
In Dakar, HE Ambassador of Qatar to Senegal Mohammed Kordi Talib Al Mankhas Al Marri held a reception on the occasion of Qatar National Day. The ceremony was attended by HE Minister of Justice as a representative of the government, ranking officials from the Ministry of Interior and the Foreign Ministry, in addition to heads of diplomatic missions accredited by the states, members of parliament, and business men.
The representative of the Senegalese government wished for a continuation of the strong bilateral relations between Qatar and Senegal.
In Barcelona, HE Consul General of the State of Qatar in Barcelona Issa bin Jaber Al Kuwari held a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the State.
The ceremony was attended by the Spanish government representative in Catalonia Teresia Conera, Spanish government representative in Barcelona Carlos Prieto, in addition to the representative of the Ministry of Defense in Catalonia, head of the Catalan regional police, commanders of the naval and air forces, and their excellencies heads of diplomatic missions in Barcelona.
HE the Consul General hailed the distinguished relations between Spain and Qatar in all fields.
In Brasilia, HE the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Federative Republic of Brazil Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Abdullah, held a reception on the occasion of Qatar National Day, with around 250 people in attendance.
The event was attended by HE Director of the Middle East Department of Brazilian Foreign Ministry Sidney Romero, HE Executive Secretary of the Camex-Board of International Trade and Investments Carlos Pio, HE Secretary for Economic Development from the State of Rio de Janeiro Lucas Tristao, in addition to heads and a number of members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Brazil.
In his speech, HE the Ambassador praised bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, saying that the two sides enjoyed strong ties in the 45 years since they established diplomatic relations and highlighted the high-ranking visits, last of which was the visit of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro to Qatar in October.
For his part, HE Director of the Middle East Department of Brazilian Foreign Ministry praised the bilateral relations between the two countries and the achievements of the Qatari people and the progress achieved by them in prosperity, dynamism and openness to the world.
He pointed to the strength of the Qatari economy, which has shown remarkable resilience in the face of challenges arising from international and regional contexts, stressing Qatar's ability to defend its national interests in international forums and its effective role in these forums.
In San Jose, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Costa Rica Khamis bin Rashid Al Kaabi hosted a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar.
In his speech at the ceremony, Al Kaabi said that the motto of the celebration of the National Day 'the path of excellence is difficult' expresses the belief of successive generations of Qatari youth that such path is arduous, but can be obtained through morality and science.
The ceremony was attended by Director of the Department of Foreign Policy of the Costa Rican Ministry of Foreign Affairs Adriana Bolanos on behalf of HE Minister of Foreign Affairs Manuel Ventura Robles, HE Minister of Culture and Youth Sylvie Duran, Deputy Minister of Education Melania Brenes Monge, and a number of advisers, officials, parliamentarians and public figures.
In his speech at the ceremony, HE the ambassador addressed the development of relations between Qatar and Costa Rica in many fields, as well as the continued exchange of visits, stressing the interest of both countries in developing friendship and cooperation.
For her part, Bolanos congratulated the State of Qatar on its national day, stressing that the relations between the two countries are growing, wishing the State of Qatar more progress and prosperity, while thanking the Qatari government for the assistance provided to the Costa Rican government.
Her Excellency said that the State of Qatar helped the human cultural heritage in various aspects of arts and literature. She also hoped that the Costa Rican national team would reach the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
In Milan, HE Consul General of the State of Qatar in Milan, Italy, Fahd bin Ibrahim Al Mushiri held a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar.
The event was attended by HE Vice-President of the Lombardy Region Andrea Sala, and HE Head of the European Union Representative in Milan Dr Massimo Gaudina, as well as a number of officials, heads of diplomatic missions and dignitaries.

The ceremony was attended by HE Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Foreign Affairs Henry Fahnbulleh (representing the Liberian Ministry of Foreign Affairs), in addition to a number of Liberian government officials, members of the diplomatic and consular corps and businessmen.

In N'Djamena, the Charge d'Affairs at the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Chad Abdulsattar bin Saleh Al Ansari hosted a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar.
The ceremony was attended by HE Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Integration, International Cooperation and Diaspora Sinda Aljima Malo (representative of the Chadian government), HE Minister of Public Health of Chad Dr. Mahamoud Youssouf Khayal, and a number of senior advisors and officials in the government, in addition to the heads and members of diplomatic and consular missions, representatives of accredited international and regional organizations, and a selection of public figures and media professionals.
In his speech at the ceremony, Al Ansari welcomed the attendees, praising the high level of relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Chad, and reviewed the pioneering role of the State of Qatar in the international arena and its successes in resolving many crises regionally and internationally.
In Skopje, the Acting Charge d'Affairs at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Northern Macedonia Hamad Jassim Gharib Al Mahmood hosted a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar.
The ceremony was attended by HE Minister of Culture Dr. Husni Ismaili, HE Minister of Local Self-Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, Goran Milevski, and a number of officials in the Macedonian government, heads of diplomatic missions, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of parties and businessmen, university directors, and representatives of charitable and cultural organizations and media representatives.

In Baku, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Azerbaijan Faisal bin Abdullah Al Hanzab hosted a reception on the occasion of Qatar National Day.
The ceremony was attended by HE Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov, who represented the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in addition to a number of government officials, members of Parliament, heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the Republic of Azerbaijan, resident representatives of the United Nations offices, and a number of businessmen, journalists and intellectuals.
On this occasion, HE the Ambassador delivered a speech in which he praised the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries.
In Rabat, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Morocco Fahd bin Ibrahim Al Hamad Al Mana hosted a reception on the occasion of Qatar National Day.
The event was attended by HE Prime Minister of Morocco Dr Saadeddine Othmani, and HE Delegate Minister for Education and Scientific Research Dr Driss Ouaouicha, in addition to a number of civil and military figures in the Kingdom of Morocco, Arab and foreign ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the Kingdom of Morocco, as well as a number of university personalities and general secretaries for political parties, representatives of international and Moroccan organizations, and a selection of media professionals, artists, and businessmen.
In Accra, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Ghana Mohammed bin Ahmad Al Homaid hosted a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar.
The ceremony was attended by HE Minister of State Boniface Abu-Bakar Saddique as a representative of the Government of Ghana, and HE minister of inner cities and Muslim communities Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, a number of members of Parliament, senior officials from the Presidential Palace and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the heads and members of the diplomatic corps in addition to a number of personalities and businessmen.
The guests were received by HE Ambassador Al Homaid and Minister Plenipotentiary of the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Ghana Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Rumaihi.
In his speech during the ceremony, Al Homaid stressed the depth of bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Ghana, reviewing Qatar's effective role in the regional and international arenas. In turn, the representative of the Ghanaian government welcomed in his speech the Qatari investments in Ghana.
During the ceremony, a video was screened showing progress and comprehensive development in the State of Qatar and its distinguished cooperation with countries of the world.
In Hanoi, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Mohamed bin Ismail Al Emadi, hosted a reception on the occasion of the National Day.
The ceremony was attended by a number of Vietnamese officials and heads of Arab, Islamic and foreign diplomatic missions accredited to Vietnam, along with a large number of the Arab, Islamic and Vietnamese community.
In Nairobi, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Kenya Jabr bin Ali Al Dossari, hosted a reception on the occasion of the National Day.
The ceremony was attended by HE representative of the Kenyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as an honorary guest of the event, representatives of official political, parliamentary and economic institutions, ambassadors of countries and diplomats accredited to the Republic of Kenya, a number of governmental and non-governmental bodies, the press and television, regional and international organizations and heads of United Nations offices in Nairobi.
In Bucharest, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Romania Abdullah bin Nasser Al Hamidi, hosted a reception on the occasion of the country's national day.
The reception was attended by HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania and HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy as the representatives of the Romanian government, in addition to a number of senior government officials, heads and representatives of diplomatic missions in Romania.
In Seoul, HE the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Korea Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Hayki, held a reception on the occasion of the country's national day.
The ceremony was attended by a number of government officials, members of parliament and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Korea.
HE the Ambassador delivered a speech at the ceremony, in which he touched on the accomplishments witnessed by the State of Qatar during the past few years during the era of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and HH the Amir Father Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, on the social, economic and political levels where Qatar occupies a prominent position regionally and internationally.
In Ashgabat, HE the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Turkmenistan Mubarak bin Abdulrahman Al Nasr, hosted a reception on the occasion of the country's national day.
The ceremony was attended by HE Deputy Prime Minister for Agriculture and Water Affairs, representing the President and Government of Turkmenistan and a number of senior officials in the country, in addition to members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Turkmenistan and the Arab community residing there.
In his speech during the ceremony, the representative of the Government of Turkmenistan conveyed the congratulations of HE President of the Republic of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow to HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and to the Qatari people on this occasion.
His Excellency praised the friendship and brotherhood relations that bind the two countries and elevated them to high levels, and their positive and fruitful cooperation to enhance relations during the past years that witnessed developments in various levels.
In turn, HE the Ambassador, in a speech to the ceremony, thanked all the attendees for their participation in the celebration of the National Day.
His Excellency touched on the development witnessed by the Turkmen-Qatari relations and the enjoyment of the State of Qatar of the wise leadership, which led the country to become an example to be followed in development in various fields.
His Excellency also touched on the phases of preparation for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and the successes in organizing various tournaments this year.
His Excellency affirmed his determination to continue to work to advance the relations between the two countries to include more fields in the future, and to enhance the existing friendship between the peoples of the two countries, expressing his gratitude to the Turkmen officials and their keenness to develop bilateral relations with the State of Qatar in various political, economic, sports and cultural spheres.
The reception included several heritage activities and provided an introductory overview of the Qatari heritage. A film was also screened on the Qatari heritage and the economic, cultural and urban renaissance witnessed in the State of Qatar.
In Abidjan, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire Jaber bin Jarallah Al Marri hosted a reception on the occasion of Qatar National Day.
The ceremony was attended by HE Vice President of the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire Daniel Kablan Duncan, a number of Ivorian ministers, heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Cote d'Ivoire, dignitaries and businessmen in the country.
In a speech at the ceremony, HE the Ambassador affirmed that the State of Qatar is proceeding with a confident step towards more significant achievements in all sectors in the light of Qatar's National Vision 2030 aimed at achieving comprehensive and sustainable development through enhancing the role and interest of the human being and ensuring his well-being, and diversifying sources of income and the development of productive sectors.
He pointed out that the most important investments are those in human being, and that the State of Qatar has placed that at the top of its priorities through attention to health, culture, sports and education in particular.
HE the Ambassador also touched on the Qatari-Ivorian relations, saying that they have witnessed great development during the past two years, with the support of the leadership of the two countries.
For his part, the Vice President of the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire expressed his happiness and pride at representing the President of the Republic on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar, and he also expressed his pride and gratitude for the Ivorian-Qatari relations.
In Los Angeles, HE Consul General of the State of Qatar in Los Angeles Khalid bin Youssef Al Sada held a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the government of California and the city of Los Angeles, heads of Arab and foreign missions and members of the diplomatic corps, in addition to a number of dignitaries and executives of some companies and businessmen and a group of Qatari citizens in the city.
In a speech to the ceremony, HE Al Sada praised the relations of friendship between the State of Qatar and the United States of America.
He highlighted the comprehensive development in the State of Qatar at all levels.
In Mumbai, HE Consul General of the State of Qatar in Mumbai Saif bin Ali Al Mohannadi held a reception on the occasion of Qatar National Day.
The ceremony was attended by HE Head of Information Department of the Maharashtra State Government Sumeet Mallick as an honorary guest and a number of state officials, heads of diplomatic missions, businessmen, intellectuals and politicians.
In Naypyidaw, Acting Charge d'Affairs in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Mansour bin Mubarak Al Khayareen hosted a reception on the occasion of Qatar National Day.
The reception was attended by HE Union Minister of Tourism U Ohn Maung as a guest of honor, as well as a number of senior officials from the Myanmar government and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in addition to heads of diplomatic missions and political, economic and media figures.
In Karachi, HE Consul General of the State of Qatar in Karachi Mishal bin Mohamed Al Ansari held in Karachi a reception on the occasion of Qatar National Day.
