Qatar Participates in Arab Meeting to Evaluate, Update Media Action Plan

The State of Qatar participated in the second meeting of the expert group on evaluating and updating the Arab media action plan abroad, which started today at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States.
HE Ambassador Hassan bin Ahmed Al Mutawa, Deputy Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the League of Arab States, represented the State of Qatar in the meeting.
The meeting, in which a number of media experts in member states and representatives of Arab federations and organizations practicing media tasks, will discuss a proposal to establish an Arab media observatory to monitor and follow up the situation and developments in member states and work to employ the axes and objectives of the plan to serve them.
The expert group concerned with the evaluation and updating of the Arab media action plan abroad comprises a number of media advisors in member countries, in addition to strategic experts in planning who have the ability to evaluate the activities of the plan and provide meaningful suggestions for its development and updating in line with current developments.
