Qatar Participates in Arab Sustainable Development Week

The State of Qatar participated in Arab Sustainable Development Week, which began today and is organized by the Arab League in cooperation with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), the United Nations Development Program, the World Bank and the European Union, under the theme 'integrated partnership for a sustainable future'.
HE Director of International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tariq Ali Al Ansari headed Qatar's delegation to the event. The delegation comprised diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and participants from the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs.
Al Ansari gave a lengthy presentation on Qatar's achievement of sustainable development through Qatar National Vision 2030, of which, the second national strategy 2018-2022 was launched according to sectoral strategies including the sectoral strategy for international cooperation led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to achieve the 17 international goals of sustainable development in line with the global agenda 2030 launched by the United Nations.
