Chairman of Qatar's Gaza Reconstruction Committee Meets UN Special Coordinator for Middle East Peace Process

HE Chairman of Qatar's Gaza Reconstruction Committee Ambassador Mohammed Al Emadi met on Monday with HE UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Nickolai Mladenov at the UN headquarters in Jerusalem.
During the meeting, HE Ambassador Al Emadi reviewed the State of Qatar's efforts to alleviate the population of the Gaza Strip.
The two sides discussed the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and joint efforts to improve it, especially electricity, relief projects and temporary employment projects for graduates and workers.
Mladenov praised the stances of the State of Qatar and the assistance it provided to the Palestinians, stressing the UN endeavor to lift the siege on Gaza and achieve Palestinian unity.
