Sudanese President Meets Special Envoy of Minister of Foreign Affairs

HE President of the fraternal Republic of the Sudan Omar Hassan Ahmad Al-Bashir met HE Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani, the minister of foreign affairs' special envoy for counterterrorism and mediation of conflict resolution.
HE the minister of foreign affairs' special envoy conveyed HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani's greetings to HE President Al-Bashir and his wishes of health and happiness to HE the president and constant progress and prosperity to the government and fraternal people of Sudan.
For his part, HE the Sudanese president entrusted HE the minister of foreign affairs' special envoy with his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing him health and happiness and further wishing progress, development and prosperity to the State of Qatar.
The meeting reviewed efforts of the Qatari mediation to bring peace to Darfur as well as the progress of implementing the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur, in addition to issues of mutual interest.
HE the State of Qatar's Ambassador to the Republic of the Sudan, Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi, attended the meeting.
