Myanmar's Speaker of Parliament Meets Ambassador of Qatar

HE Speaker of the Parliament of Republic of the Union of Myanmar, T Khun Myat, met with HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Myanmar, Hassan bin Mohammad Rafi Al Emadi, on the occasion of ending his tenure in the country.
In addition, HE Minister for the Office of the State Counselor of Myanmar, Kyaw Tint Swe; HE National Security Advisor of Myanmar, U Thaung Tun; and HE Myanmar's Chair of Commission for the Assessment of Legal Affairs and Special Issues, U Shwe Mann met separately with HE the ambassador on the occasion of ending his tenure in the country.
During the meetings, the officials praised the efforts of the ambassador during his post in terms of developing the bilateral relations and cooperation in a number of issues, which contributed to opening wider aspects for cooperation. They also wished him success in the tasks entrusted to him and hoped for continuous development and prosperity for the relations between the two countries.
For his part, HE the ambassador thanked the officials for their cooperation during his tenure and expressed his sincere wishes to the government and the people of Myanmar for further progress, prosperity, peace and reconciliation.
