Al Emadi Announces New Qatari Grant of QR 50 Million to Gaza

Chairman of the Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza, HE Ambassador Mohammed Al Emadi, announced an urgent Qatari grant of about $14 million to Gaza Strip on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a press statement before leaving Gaza today, HE the ambassador said that in continuation of Qatar's relief and humanitarian role and with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, Qatar offers the QR 50 million relief aid to Gaza.
HE the ambassador added that this service and humanitarian grant will target the areas of education, health, housing and the humanitarian needs of the population in Gaza.
HE Ambassador Al Emadi added that Qatar seeks to meet the shortfall in the salaries of Palestinian Authority and Hamas employees and make every effort possible in this regard.
