Qatar Supports Lebanon with $500 Million

The State of Qatar has announced the provision of $ 500 million in the form of concessionary loan and investments in support of Lebanon during the Cedar Conference to support the process of economic development in Lebanon which began Friday in the French capital, Paris.
The State of Qatar participated in this economic conference with a delegation headed by HE Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan al Hammadi.
About 40 countries and international organizations, as well as the private sector, participated in Cedar Conference to support the plan prepared by the Lebanese government to promote investment, especially in infrastructure projects in the country.
