Special Envoy of the Foreign Minister for Combating Terrorism Meets International Officials in Uzbekistan

HE the Special Envoy of the Foreign Minister for Combating Terrorism and Mediation in Dispute Settlement Dr. Mutlaq bin Majid Al Qahtani, met here separately today with HE the National Security Advisor of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammed Haneef Atmar , HE Germany's Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Markus Potzel, and HE US Acting Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Alice G. Wells, on the sidelines of the Tashkent High-level Ministerial Conference on Peace in Afghanistan in the Uzbek capital.
Discussions during the meeting dealt with the developments of the peace process in Afghanistan, as well as issues of common concern.
