Qatar, Morocco Sign Minutes of Study on Projects, Investment Opportunities

The State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Morocco signed the minutes of the study on projects and development and investment opportunities in Morocco.
HE Foreign Ministry's International Cooperation Department Director, Ambassador Tariq Ali Al Ansari, signed the minutes from the Qatari side, while HE Moroccan Minister of Economy and Finance, Mohamed Boussaid, signed on behalf of the Moroccan side.
The minutes include a study on investment and development projects in fraternal Morocco in the fields of development of southern Moroccan provinces; the reduction of social disparities; and public investment in roads, education, health, water, electricity and ports.
HE Ambassador Al Ansari said the signing of the minutes enhances the strategic partnership between the two fraternal countries, strengthens the close cooperation between them and expands its horizons in different fields for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
He also praised the fraternal relations between the two countries and the continuous efforts of officials in both countries to boost them through joint cooperation.
HE Ambassador Al Ansari stressed that the State of Qatar is interested in development and investment cooperation as investment promotes growth and mobilizes economy to ensure continuity of the side effects of projects and thus achieving economic and social balances.
For his part, HE the Moroccan minister of economy and finance highlighted the strong fraternal ties between the two countries. He also praised the continuous efforts of those in charge of first Qatari grant, which led to the full implementation of the grant in late 2017.
