Qatar Participates in Meeting on Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species

The State of Qatar is taking part in the 69th meeting of the permanent committee on the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), which concludes Friday in Geneva.
The Qatari delegation reiterated the State of Qatar's commitment to the provisions of the CITES agreement.
The State of Qatar is one of five Arab member states in CITES and is listed under Group 1, which includes the best countries in terms of commitment to implementing the convention.
