Qatar, UN Office at Geneva Sign MoU

The State of Qatar and the United Nations Office at Geneva have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), on the renovation and modernization of Hall 19, as an integrated project as a donation from the State of Qatar.

The MoU was signed for Qatar by HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations in Geneva Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, and HE Director of the United Nations Office at Geneva Michael Moller.

HE Mr. Moller thanked the State of Qatar for its efforts and interest in supporting the work of the United Nations by contributing to the improvement of the means of work that would help achieve humanitarian objectives at the international level.

For his part, HE Ambassador Al Mansouri,stressed Qatar's interest in the project and follow up on its implementation plan as soon as possible in order to provide more facilities through the use of delegations to this hall to discuss various international humanitarian, security and other issues.
