Qatar Supports Demands of Libya's National Accord Government on Investigating Darna Bombing

The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the bombing that targeted eastern Libya's city of Darna, claiming the lives of several people in injuring others.
In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the bombing as a heinous and appalling crime. The statement affirmed Qatar's full support for the demands of the Libyan National Accord Government to investigate the incident and hold the perpetrators accountable.
The Ministry reiterated the State of Qatar's rejection of any direct or indiscriminate attacks against civilians considering that to be a violation of international humanitarian law.
The statement also expressed Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
